Summer, summer, summer :) what could be better? may be... summer with new mp3 player in your pocket exclusively from mp3s.su?) And yes, that's got to be gr8 summer! "what’s the point" I’ll say? Since 2006 mp3s.su is one of the best and free music & music videos source all over the internet with direct links. We had lots of problems for years, but two things are unchangeable is you, our dear users and music at mp3s.su :) And coz it's absolutely free, we're having problems with our bills from time to time, mp3s.su administration just CAN'T ask you to donate money for nothing, that's why we made a special contest, to give you a chance to win gr8 prizes and help us to pay our bills for server, domain and other services. It's already a year past we payed last time for our server and that’s 1350$ for one year server and other services.
I know that’s crisis, but we have over 90k registered ONLY users, com'on :) a bit here, a bit there and we'll stay tuned for more years, look from another side, if we'll close it, it'll be worth.

The more you donate, higher you'll be on top20, higher you're best you'll get. We're giving 10 mp3 players, our t-shirts, premium accounts, v1p emails, premium codes and etc. More info and payments methods are inside article.

Yeap! That's me :) Firstfull let me apologize for kind of break, i was out of internet, phone ... civilization for last four monthes! That wasn't easy and everything what happend, happends for quick, so i just couldn't done anything with mp3s.su and i'm really sorry about that!!! Me and lonew decided to forbid comments coz nobody would check them and delete rude and useless comments! And made some other changes to automate web untill i'll be back!!!
Now! HUGE thanks for all e-mails from you, you and you :D it was ... quite lots of letters at my mail box, only from users of mp3s.su i had 1819 letters :) Thank you all for worrying!!! Really!! It's great to realize such love to our web :)
And finaly i think you all want to know why? :) I had to go to army, i had no choice, but i'm now scouts team sergeant and i'm back to civil :) don't ask me how :D
Anyway! next week i'm planing to finish some of my personal things and start something new :) not just like ordinary "new", but something really "NEW" :) mp3s.su is going back to life!!! :)

Last monthes lot's of our users are askin': "Why don't you do some VIP zone? with some extra features just for VIP users?" Yeah, why not :) Anything u'd like, that's what we're doin' :) workin for you ;) But what would you like to have in it, i mean for sure no ads, what else? and how much you'd pay for it? Just follow the article and write comment with things you'd like to have in VIP zone and how much u'd pay for it monthly? We've finaly done everything!
Evrything is now workin' on a new dedicated server, we've tested everything and found most suitable settings for server, sql, site, etc. We had some apache errors, sql problems + some other errors, but now it's all fixed and workin' faster then ever with no errors at all. Serach function and other functions were restored!

Dear visitors and users, you've all noticed that mp3s.su was down for a while!
I'll tell you what happend: i've received e-mail from our last hosting provider saying that: "We apologies for inconvenience, but we're no longer in technically ability to host your web on our servers. You have one week to move out. Sorry about that!"
There was two kind of hosting types, usual for small web and etc. And HighRes for web like ours with high traffic and high usage of resources. In spite of we've been using HighRes hosting for over one year, it was too much. About 20.000 unique user everyday, over 100.000 pager per day!!! I do not even want to shock you with the traffic amounts!
Anyway, me and lonew have made a huge job to find another host and transfer all content, tryin' not to lose anything, we've mannaged but...! This host will not host us for a long time, that's just a temporary problem-solving, may be month, may be two, not more!

mp3s.su since sepember of 2006 is free for use and has never been taking any money from you for downloading anything! And you can say big thanks for: lonew, VtCoM, lime, cava, razorx, caku, bestiaa, Fill69, etc.
And at the moment we're really out of any ideas, the only way to avoid any such problems in the future is to move from host to dedicated server, to buy a server is quite expensive, so the best thing to do is to rent some. I've found good one in Holand, but that's gonna cost us some anyway, here is some info about it:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2,0 Ghz; 3072 MB Ram; 2x500 GB SATA;
Instalation - 190$ (once) and monthly price - 170$, minimum contract is 6 monthes, so we'll have to pay 1210$ in advance! which is about 790eur!
For over 80.000 registered users, that's not too much and we really hope for your understanding and help, we have 2 months to collect money and we really hope for your help, because you all making mp3s.su better and better with every single day. If we wouldn't succeed... we will go down!..

2nd April UPDATE: We just came back from almost 3 days down, our last host gone down, we've currently moving to new server, not for long, maximum for 3-4 weeks, then we'll have to move again, so we have to find additional 824$ (thanks to all donators, not 1210) to move to our own server and complete our traveling from one host to another. We've spend about two days with lonew workin with the web and we're really tired! We hope for ur help! Unfortunatly not all of the futures on current server works, so some of advantages on mp3s.su may be currently offline, we're sorry for that!
