Summer, summer, summer :) what could be better? may be... summer with new mp3 player in your pocket exclusively from mp3s.su?) And yes, that's got to be gr8 summer! "what’s the point" I’ll say? Since 2006 mp3s.su is one of the best and free music & music videos source all over the internet with direct links. We had lots of problems for years, but two things are unchangeable is you, our dear users and music at mp3s.su :) And coz it's absolutely free, we're having problems with our bills from time to time, mp3s.su administration just CAN'T ask you to donate money for nothing, that's why we made a special contest, to give you a chance to win gr8 prizes and help us to pay our bills for server, domain and other services. It's already a year past we payed last time for our server and that’s 1350$ for one year server and other services.
I know that’s crisis, but we have over 90k registered ONLY users, com'on :) a bit here, a bit there and we'll stay tuned for more years, look from another side, if we'll close it, it'll be worth.

The more you donate, higher you'll be on top20, higher you're best you'll get. We're giving 10 mp3 players, our t-shirts, premium accounts, v1p emails, premium codes and etc. More info and payments methods are inside article.

I know you like mp3s.su and i damn sure you love music :) We're trying to improve mp3s.su each single day, to make it look better, work better, so you'd fell here better :) From the moment of opening mp3s.su we made thousands of improvements and changed about 5 designes, but we're not about to stop :)

As it's crisis, our jurnalists can't pay some bills for their premium accounts, that mean they'll stop do some and we're talking about filefactory last couple of years our jurnalist were supported by 5 filefactory premiums, thats about 2.5 TB and each account 79$ per year, total: 395$. So, our jurnalists decided to stop using filefactory for making premiums and uploading files there. They can do it, but... they are off $

Evrything is now workin' on a new dedicated server, we've tested everything and found most suitable settings for server, sql, site, etc. We had some apache errors, sql problems + some other errors, but now it's all fixed and workin' faster then ever with no errors at all. Serach function and other functions were restored!

I'll tell you what happend: i've received e-mail from our last hosting provider saying that: "We apologies for inconvenience, but we're no longer in technically ability to host your web on our servers. You have one week to move out. Sorry about that!"
There was two kind of hosting types, usual for small web and etc. And HighRes for web like ours with high traffic and high usage of resources. In spite of we've been using HighRes hosting for over one year, it was too much. About 20.000 unique user everyday, over 100.000 pager per day!!! I do not even want to shock you with the traffic amounts!
Anyway, me and lonew have made a huge job to find another host and transfer all content, tryin' not to lose anything, we've mannaged but...! This host will not host us for a long time, that's just a temporary problem-solving, may be month, may be two, not more!

mp3s.su since sepember of 2006 is free for use and has never been taking any money from you for downloading anything! And you can say big thanks for: lonew, VtCoM, lime, cava, razorx, caku, bestiaa, Fill69, etc.
And at the moment we're really out of any ideas, the only way to avoid any such problems in the future is to move from host to dedicated server, to buy a server is quite expensive, so the best thing to do is to rent some. I've found good one in Holand, but that's gonna cost us some anyway, here is some info about it:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2,0 Ghz; 3072 MB Ram; 2x500 GB SATA;
Instalation - 190$ (once) and monthly price - 170$, minimum contract is 6 monthes, so we'll have to pay 1210$ in advance! which is about 790eur!
For over 80.000 registered users, that's not too much and we really hope for your understanding and help, we have 2 months to collect money and we really hope for your help, because you all making mp3s.su better and better with every single day. If we wouldn't succeed... we will go down!..

2nd April UPDATE: We just came back from almost 3 days down, our last host gone down, we've currently moving to new server, not for long, maximum for 3-4 weeks, then we'll have to move again, so we have to find additional 824$ (thanks to all donators, not 1210) to move to our own server and complete our traveling from one host to another. We've spend about two days with lonew workin with the web and we're really tired! We hope for ur help! Unfortunatly not all of the futures on current server works, so some of advantages on mp3s.su may be currently offline, we're sorry for that!
4 April UPDATE: all ads will have extra time! All functions are restored :)

Ok, people. We've finished moving to new hosting provider on a reliable fast dedicated server with "load balancing", so until April, 16-th, there will exist some "test period". If something goes wrong during this time then we'll think about another provider. But our opinion - this one is the best for 'HUGE load' projects as our, and we hope - it's our last move for at least one year. All bugs send to lonew or Oxya^ by PM. After ends of test period we have to pay. It means write PM ASAP if u really sure u know what to write. As financial part of mp3s.su: Oxya^, is currently away and can't check his PayPal status, which will be updated on april, 16-th, all info on web will be updated also. We really appreciate all donating from smalest to biggest! Please also check the rest of article for voting and vote about new server.
