"Breathe" sees Denmark's Daniel Kandi step up to the plate for an impressive Anjunabeats debut. Breathe's a very traditional trancer, but thanks to its stunning lead melody, sublime pads and commanding arps, it manages to stand out from the pack.
Remix duties are handled by label mate Sunny Lax, responsible for the massive P.U.M.A, which was caned by the likes of Above & Beyond, Armin, Paul van Dyk. The result is a lovely blend of chords and melody whose strength on the dancefloor must be seen to be believed. Enjoy! |

Daniel Kandi's original mix of "Breathe" is a pleasant, floating number which uses M1 pianos, sweeping strings and a solid surrounding production to make its point. On the remix, Sunny Lax starts things off by giving you the horn. Or "horns" plural, to be precise. A great, booming impossible-to-miss slew of effects that defines an enhanced version of "Breathe". Add into that a plethora of pads, chords and plenty of production spin-and-polish and you have the premier mix on the package.
